GillyWood are Susan Turner, Zahira Al-Zahira, Mark Evans and Dave Kenningham - separately they perform as The Gillies (Susan and Mark) and Pytchwood (Zahira and Dave) but together as Gillywood!
At live shows they perform a combination of both their own songs and also cover songs.
Susan plays tenor guitar, banjo and sings. Mark plays a Gibson J45 and sings. Zahira plays a nylon string Lag guitar uke bass and sings. She also plays a number of percussion instruments. Dave plays guitar, Mandolin, Bodhran and sings. Plus a bit of Thunder Tube, spoons and whatever comes to hand!
