Another installment of our 'Tramshed Masterclasses'. A Shakespeare acting workshop for young people who are wanting to audition to Drama School or improve their craft as an actor.
Learn to tackle Shakespeare scenes and monologues, using your individual skills, personality and experiences to bring to life unique interpretations of the text. This workshop is about meeting you where you are in your journey with Shakespeare and giving you the confidence to own your performance. This will be a lively workshop, so be prepared to be up and moving around the space.
This workshop is ran by Lata Nobes. Lata is a British-Indian theatre director and actor-musician from South London. She has taught at the Globe theatre and has worked as an assistant director of the Royal Shakespeare Company on two productions. Lata was named as one of the 50 most influential neurodivergent women in the arts by Women Beyond the Box in 2022.
We have some free spaces available for NEET young people and those from means tested benefit households. Please contact joe@tramshed.org to inquire.
