The London Pantomime Horse Race

Currently, race teams taking part in our online fundraising campaign (in aid of Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital ) has so far raised £2,358 , which is an amazing achievement however, we are £7, 642 shy of our 10k target so…desperate measures are now needed, which involves the great Greenwich community to get ‘behind’ . (pun intended)

Race organiser Mark Biddiss has volunteered to dress up as ‘Bishop Brennan’ (Father Ted) and will encourage the public to ‘gently’ kick him up the a*se during the street race on Sunday 15th December. It may not bring about world peace but it will certainly bring elements of the Greenwich community together who have long dreamed to do this (in the name of charity of course).

This puerile idea will only happen however , if the community clubs together and help us raise another 7k,thus reaching the 10k target for ‘Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children’. If we reach 10k, Mark has pledged to bring back the world famous London pantomime horse race again in 2025. If we don’t reach the target, this year will most definitely be the last one.

So Greenwich, it’s now up to you to get ‘behind’ us & help make a difference.
