Article on the European club competition Quarter-Final draw.
The 2023/24 UEFA Champions League has entered the quarter final stages following this weeks mid-week European matches.
The clubs who have progressed to the Champions League quarter-finals include English clubs Arsenal and Manchester city, German clubs Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, Spanish clubs Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona and French club Paris Saint-Germain.
Arsenal have been drawn to play German heavyweights Bayern Munich and whilst holders Manchester City have been drawn to play fourteen time European Cup winners Real Madrid whilst Atletico Madrid have been drawn to face Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona have been drawn to face French giants Paris Saint-Germain.
The games are due to take place between the weeks of the 9th April to the 16th April 2024 with the winners of each quarter final progressing to the semi-finals of the competition. The Europa League draw (European football's second premier club competition) saw Liverpool and West Ham drawn to face Italian club Atalanta and German side Bayer Leverkusen respectively in the quarter-finals.
The other sides drawn in the quarter finals include Benfica facing Marseille and Italian sides AC Milan and AS Roma facing one another. The Europa League quarter-final games are due to take place between the 11th and 18th April 2024.
The Conference League quarter finals are also due to take place between the 11th and 18th April 2024 with the draw showing Belgian Club Brugge facing Greek side PAOK, fellow Greek side Olympiakos facing Turkish giants Fenerbahce, Aston Villa facing French club Lille and lastly Czech side Viktoria Plzen facing Italian side Fiorentina.
