Preview on England's fixtures for the March international break.
The England national football team are due to face Brazil tomorrow evening at Wembley Stadium as part of the England two team's scheduled international friendly fixtures in addition to a later fixture with Belgium. England come into a game in good form having recently qualified top of their European Championship qualifying group ahead of Italy. They can also rely on having most of their players both fit and ready with the only exception being Arsenal right-winger Bukayo Saka who has had to pull out of the England squad due to injury. England are currently unbeaten in their last 20 home fixtures at Wembley Stadium which is the national team's best run of form in home matches since between 1984 and 1990. Under current manager Gareth Southgate England have been able to defeat 39 out of 42 national teams which they have faced during his tenure. Brazil under manager Dorival Junior currently have their own injury problems with Arsenal center-back Gabriel Magalhaes recently withdrawing from the Brazil squad joining his Arsenal teammate Gabriel Martinelli, Joelinton, Éder Militão, Casemiro, Neymar, João Pedro, Ederson, Alisson and Marquinhos as injury casualties. Brazil's recent record against European national teams is impressive with them having defeated 10 of their last 11 opponents from Europe with the team having scored 25 goals and only conceding 4 with their last defeat to opposition from Europe coming against Belgium at the 2018 World Cup. England have a poor record against the Brazilians having only won 4 of their 26 fixtures against them with their last victory being a 2–1 home win back in 2013. The last fixture between the two nations was a goalless draw at Wembley in November 2017. The game is due to be broadcast live only terrestrial television with Channel 4 gaining the rights the broadcast the game on Saturday evening at 7:30PM.
