Christ the King Sixth Form announced with much pride the results of students' A-Level, UAL, and T-Level results this week.
The hard work of students as well as their dedication have led to impressive results for many of the students with many of them securing places at prestigious universities, competitive degree apprenticeships as well as employment.
Around 97.8% of the students achieved an A Level pass rate as well as 21 A Level subjects achieving a 100% pass rate. This was particularly outstanding due to the UK national pass rate being 97.2%. This academic year was the first to have students receiving T-Level awards and their awards and outcomes were spectacular.
T-Levels are technical qualifications designed in collaboration with employers, equivalent to 3 A Levels, that combine classroom learning with industry placements to prepare students for skilled employment or further education. Over 500 students at CTK study a BTEC, UAL, or T Level qualification (equivalent to 3 A Levels) with a pass rate of 99.7%.
Over 87% of University applicants at Christ the King College were able to secure an at-place University with 78% of students achieving a place at their preferred 1st choice University this year.
Christ the King's headteacher, Andrew Montrose, who was delighted with the results said, "We are immensely proud of every single student.
"Not only have they worked hard to achieve some amazing results, they have been remarkable role models to our younger children. For the two years they've been in our Sixth Form, they have made invaluable contributions to the leadership, ethos, and reputation of Christ the King College. These young people have consistently demonstrated our values, and they are a resident to us all."
Christ the King continues to maintain its reputation as one of the leading sixth-form colleges in London with these outstanding results.
