The M25 will be closed this weekend for a third time this year with drivers being warned to expect a ten-mile diversion in place.
The closure affects the busy motorway between Junctions 10 and 11 from 9pm Friday 12 July to 6am Monday 15 July.
The partial closure is for works taking place to install a new bridge at the roundabout of Junction 10, according to National Highways.
People travelling to London for the televised Euros final, as well as those heading to Gatwick and Heathrow airports are warned to expect delays to their journeys.
National Highways said in a warning: “Only travel if necessary. We’re grateful to all drivers who avoided previous closures and completed their journeys in other ways. We urge you to do the same again.
“If you do travel, expect delays and please leave a lot of extra time for your journey.”
A diversion route will be in place for both directions. From Junction 10 to Junction 11 it will be the northbound A3 to Painshill Junction, A245 towards Woking, and then A320 to M25 Junction 11.
