
A man has been taken to hospital following a stabbing on Parry Place in Woolwich.
The incident took place in the early afternoon, and a London Ambulance Spokesperson said, "We were called at 1.26pm today (27 March) to reports of a stabbing on Parry Place, SE18. We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer, and a paramedic from our tactical response unit. Our first paramedics arrived on scene in approximately four minutes. We treated a man at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
Maritime Radio contacted the Metropolitan Police for comment, and a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
‘Police were called at 13:34hrs on Thursday, 27 March, to reports of a stabbing in Parry Place, near Plumstead Road, SE18. Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a man suffering a stab injury. He has been taken to hospital, and we await an update on his condition. A crime scene is in place. No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.

At the same time, the London Fire Brigade attended to a fire in a shop on Spray Street, just around the corner from where the incident took place. There is believed to be no connection between the two incidents.
