A 19-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Shooters Hill that left an 18-year-old victim hospitalised.
A teenager has been charged in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred in Shooters Hill, South East London, earlier this week.
Oquaine Simpson, 19, of Dacres Road, SE23, was charged on Thursday, 9th January, with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon. He is due to appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court later today.
The charges relate to a stabbing that took place at approximately 4:20 pm on Monday, 6th January, on Prince Imperial Road, SE18.
Emergency services were called to the scene, where they found an 18-year-old man suffering from serious stab wounds. At the time, the victim was in a life-threatening condition.
However, his condition has since stabilised, and he is currently in hospital recovering from injuries that are no longer life-threatening or life-changing.
A 17-year-old girl was also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the incident. She has been released on bail while investigations continue.
The police inquiry remains ongoing.
