Premier League action between 1st and 3rd April 2025

Liverpool, Arsenal, Nottingham Forest, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Newcastle United all secured victories in the latest round of midweek Premier League fixtures.

Liverpool edged past local rivals Everton with a 1–0 win in the Merseyside Derby, maintaining their 12-point lead at the top of the table over second-placed Arsenal. The Gunners claimed a 2–1 victory against London rivals Fulham, with goals from Mikel Merino and the returning Bukayo Saka, while Rodrigo Muniz netted a late consolation for Fulham.

Wolves secured a crucial 1–0 victory against West Ham United at Molineux, strengthening their bid for Premier League survival. Chelsea triumphed 1–0 over London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge, keeping the Blues in fourth place, while Spurs remained in 14th.

Aston Villa put in an impressive performance to defeat Brighton & Hove Albion 3–0 at the AMEX Stadium, boosting their hopes of securing Champions League qualification for a second consecutive season. Newcastle United claimed a 2–1 win over Brentford at St James' Park, while Ipswich Town recorded only their fourth Premier League victory of the season with a 2–1 win at Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium.

The final fixture of the round saw Southampton and Crystal Palace play out a 1–1 draw.

As a result, the Premier League standings remain largely unchanged at the top, with Liverpool holding their 12-point lead over second-placed Arsenal. Nottingham Forest, Chelsea, and Manchester City complete the top five.
