The Premier League resumes this weekend with matchweek 13 due to take place. Liverpool currently leads the Premier League table by eight points ahead of reigning champions Manchester City who are 2nd with Chelsea, Arsenal, and Brighton & Hove Albion in 3rd, 4th, and 5th place respectively. Brighton & Hove Albion face Southampton at the Amex Stadium tonight on the 29th of October and if victorious go up the second place. The Saturday fixtures see Wolves vs Bournemouth, Crystal Palace vs Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest vs Ipswich Town, and Brentford vs Leicester City which all kick off at 3 PM. In contrast, West Ham United vs Arsenal kicks off at 5:30 PM on the same day. Sunday's matches see Chelsea face Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge, Tottenham Hotspur take on Fulham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Manchester United take on Everton at Old Trafford with each game kicking off at 1:30 PM. The final game of the weekend is the most important match of the season so far which sees Liverpool face Manchester City at Anfield a Liverpool victory will very likely knock Manchester City out of the Premier League title race before Christmas due to the 11-point lead this would give to Liverpool over Manchester City. However, a Manchester City win at Anfield could provide them with a lifeline and a chance of potentially coming back with a chance of winning the league.
